To add a new service in Booktics, follow these steps to customize the details based on your business requirements:
- Navigate to Booktics → Services from the WordPress Dashboard.
- Click the Add New button to create a new service.

- Enter the Service Title — this will be the name of the service displayed to customers.
- Add a Short Description to briefly explain what the service includes.
- Choose a Category from the list, or create a new one if needed.
- Upload a Service Image that visually represents the service.
- After filling in all the required fields, click the Save & Next button.

After saving your service, you’ll be redirected to the General Information page for that service. From here, you can configure more detailed options to tailor the service behavior.
General Information
After saving your service, you will be redirected to the General Information page for that specific service. From here, you can configure additional details to customize how the service operates.

Since the general information has already been filled out, you can proceed directly to the Duration & Price tab to set up timing, pricing, and booking preferences.
Duration & Price
This section allows you to configure how your service will be scheduled and priced. You can define how long each session lasts, its cost, how clients book time slots, and any buffer time needed before or after appointments.
1) Additionally, Service Duration and Price
Set the core details of the service duration.
- Duration Name: Provide a suitable name to label the time slot.
- Duration Time: Define how long the service will take.
- Charge Amount: Set the price for the service.
- Buffer Time – Before: Specify preparation time before the appointment.
- Buffer Time – After: Add time for cleanup or transition after the session.

You can also add multiple durations and prices for your services. Just click on the ‘Add Another Service Duration’ button to add another duration and price.

2) Selectable intervals
Configure how frequently clients can book your service.
- Set Interval Time: Control spacing between available bookings.

Team & Schedule
This section allows you to assign team members to a service and configure a custom schedule if needed.
Select Team Members
Assign one or more team members who will be responsible for providing this service.
Select from the available team members listed. Once selected, only those members will appear in the booking form for this service.

Set Custom Schedule
By default, the service follows the general schedule defined in the main settings.
To override this, enable the custom schedule option and define specific working hours for this service.
This is useful when a particular service has different availability compared to your general business hours.

Group Booking
Group Booking allows clients to book multiple services or seats in a single reservation. It simplifies the booking process, saves time, and makes managing multiple attendees easier and more efficient.
- Enable Group Booking – Toggle to activate group booking.
- Group Booking Minimum – Minimum number of attendees required for a group booking.
- Group Booking Maximum – Maximum number of attendees allowed in a group.
- Do Not Multiply Charge Amount by Number of Attendees – Charge will remain fixed, not multiplied by the number of attendees if this option is enabled.

Extra Service
Booktics allows you to offer Extra Services along with your main services. These are optional add-ons that customers can choose when booking a service — for example, “Premium Hair Massage”, “Extended Consultation”, or “Express Delivery”.
To add extra services, go to the Extra Service and click on the “Extra Service” button from the top menu. You will now see the Create New Extra Service form.

Provide the necessary information for the extra service:
- Extra Service Title – The name of the extra service (e.g., “Aroma Therapy”).
- Duration Minutes – How long the service will take (in minutes).
- Charge Amount – The cost of this extra service.
- Maximum Quantity – The maximum number of times a customer can select this extra service per booking.
- Status – Choose whether the extra service should be Active or Inactive.
- Short Description – A brief description to help customers understand what the extra service offers.
- Service Image – Upload an image that visually represents the extra service.
- Connect Services – Link this extra service to one or more main services where it should appear as an optional add-on.

Once all fields are completed, scroll down and click the Save button.
Your extra service will now be available as an add-on during the booking process for selected main services.
You can check the list of existing extra services and also add a new service from the top menu bar.

Advanced Settings
In the Advanced Settings section, you can manage custom fields for your service and enable the Google Meet auto-link option
Custom Fileds
You can extend the default booking form by adding Custom Fields to collect additional information from users during the booking process.
Follow the documentation details to add custom fields.
Google Meet Auto-Link
Sends a Google Meet link to the customer automatically when a service is booked for seamless scheduling.
To use this feature, follow the documentation to configure Google Meet integration properly, ensuring that meeting links are generated and sent automatically when a service is booked.

Service List
You can view the complete list of your created services by navigating to the Services menu. From there, you can manage, edit, or delete any existing services as needed.
